In 1992, two young people full of life and the anointing of God had a burden for souls. They decided to have a Youth Crusade. One that would allow young people to come and worship God, without all of the formalities of a traditional setting. Starting in the school auditoriums, hundreds of souls would come to worship. God began to save, heal and deliver under the preaching and teaching of these two people. The power of God began to draw others from everywhere. It was longer a “Youth Crusade” but young & old were being blessed.
The following year, September 1993 these people were consecrated to the office of Pastor and Co-Pastor Elder Anthony D. Gardner and his wife Monica Gardner, became the pastors of “The Life Giving Word Christian Center”.

The enemy began to fight this powerful ministry and the school doors were shut! Having no place to worship, they began to have prayer and bible studies in their home. They rented office space in the community and kept going holding on to the promises of God. Traveling from hotels, banquet halls and others places to worship God gave them provision in Delran, New Jersey in 1997. They converted an old oil company into a worship center. God is still blessing the ministry and souls are being added to the kingdom daily.

Knowing that the best is yet to come God gave the Pastors a greater Vision for Life Giving Word Ministries.
